DUE CHIACCHIERE E UN AUGURIO!!

E’ da un po’ che non scriviamo un blog, e in effetti di cose da scrivere ce ne sarebbero state diverse. Dunque…dove eravamo rimasti ?
Ah si … alla consegna di “Crash Test 02” e il montaggio del video di “Un’altra come te”.
Ebbè… sono passati 5 mesi!
L’album è uscito, il video pure! Ad oggi il bilancio è tutto sommato positivo, pare che siano piaciuti entrambi: commenti positivi e attestazioni di stima non sono mancate.
Non abbiamo ancora dati di vendita ufficiali ma non saranno di certo cifre sbalorditive, da questo punto di vista abbiamo ancora molto da conquistare, sempre che esista ancora un mercato.“Vendere” musica oggi suona quasi ironico, peggio che mai se ti è capitato nella vita di toccare con mano ciò che veramente poteva essere considerato un record di vendita. Tutto cambia! Ed è inevitabilmente giusto che sia così.
Le classifiche dei singoli sono scomparse e hanno fatto il loro ingresso quelle digitali (download e suonerie) e si sente parlare addirittura di una classifica dei live, dove pare che ogni settimana venga stilata una chart dei concerti con maggior seguito.
Le novità musicali ormai arrivano dal web: You Tube, My Space, Community e social network vari. Con una buona regolarità ormai si sente parlare di un’artista, di un video o di una canzone che citando il classico comunicato stampa: “grazie all’enorme mole di visualizzazioni sul portale x o y, è stato notato dal media x, y, z… che ne ha decretato un successo tale da portare la multinazionale x, y, z a stipulare un contratto discografico che ne segnerà l’esordio ufficiale…”.E questa è una buona notizia che conforta chi ha bisogno di emergere e di attenzione. Perché vi assicuro che cambia molto rispetto a quando si doveva andare a bussare a porte che non aprivano agli sconosciuti.
C’è un però… però Ossia sempre di più assistiamo a fenomeni temporanei che lasciano il tempo che trovano, poiché spesso arrivano da intuizioni più che non veri e propri artisti che sanno cosa stanno facendo. Ma questa è un’altra storia… vi offro lo spunto per la discussione poi magari approfondiremo sul forum!
Tornando a noi, abbiamo finalmente traslocato tutto nei nuovi studi: il “Blue House Studio” e il “Red House Studio”. Più avanti vi faremo fare un giretto virtuale… vi anticipo che non ci siamo fatti mancare niente ed è la realizzazione di un sogno che ci portiamo dietro da quando abbiamo deciso di fare della musica un mestiere. Abbiamo molte idee e progetti per la Blueboys, che per ora è ancora un’etichetta e un’edizione di supporto alle nostre produzioni come Bloom 06 ma in futuro si trasformerà anche in altro.
Abbiamo anche ripreso a calcare qualche palco e la cosa, come sapete, ci è mancata molto.
Anche sotto questo lato abbiamo molto da lavorare affinchè tutto funzioni a dovere, ma un viaggio da qualche parte deve pur iniziare.
A distanza di 2 anni dall’esordio ufficiale dei Bloom 06, solo ora sentiamo di aver sistemato tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno per ripartire. E tanto per celebrare presente e passato: eccovi “Club Test 01”, che come sapete contiene alcune tracce del nostro nuovo repertorio (remixate) più una nuova versione 2008 di “Blue”, a 10 anni esatti dalla sua prima pubblicazione.
10 anni….!! Non si smette mai di essere grati ad una canzone come “Blue”, e non solo per quante copie ha venduto o quanti soldi possa aver fatto guadagnare (che non sono dettagli ovviamente), ma soprattutto per ciò che ha rappresentato per le nostre vite! Ovvero il senso di riscatto dopo anni di sacrifici! Un po’ come il finale di Rocky 1 quando grida “Aaaaadrianaaaaaa”…. Ecco quel senso lì

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND A LITTLE CHAT!!

It’s been a while since our last Blog post and there’s been quite a lot to write about.
So…where were we?
Oh yeah…we were at the release of “Crash Test 02” and the editing of the “Un’altra Come Te” video.
The album’s been released and so has the video. We can say that results are pretty good since that both have left a sign and many positive comments have been written.
We don’t have any sales report at the moment but we can surely say that it’s not going to be a surprising amount. We still have hills to climb in that sense although there isn’t much of a sales market anymore. Selling music today sounds quite ironic and it’s even worse if you’ve had the opportunity to personally live what can be considered a sales record. Everything changes! and it has to inevitably be that way.
The singles chart has expired and is now replaced by the digital charts (download and ringtones) and lately we’ve heard of a the possibility of a live show chart with weekly results of the most crowded  Shows.
Fresh music blood today comes from the web; YouTube, MySpace and various community social networks. We see a daily increase of news saying: thanks to the great amount of video or profile views the artist X has been brought to the attention of a major label followed by a contract and the official debut. This is great news for whom wants to make his way into the music business. It surely is deeply different from the time where you when you had to send the demo or knock on a record labels door. There’s a back side of the coin though…we see a lot more temporary hits come out of an intuition rather than a solid artist with the head on the shoulder. But this is another argument… take it as a sparkle for a topic we could elaborate in the forum.
Back to us…we finally moved into our new studios: “The Blue Studio” and “The Red Studio”. Further on we’ll upload a virtual tour for you. We can say that nothings missing this time in the .dream of a life time studio. A dream we’ve cherished since we’ve decided to make music our future. There are lots of ideas for the future “Blue Boys” activity. At the moment it’s only a record label and publishing company made to support Bloom 06.
As you know we’ve had some stage activity lately and we must admit that we missed it a lot. There’s still a long way to go before things get rolling as we desire but a road must start somewhere.
Two years have gone by since the Bloom 06 debut but we have just finished putting together all the necessary pieces of the new puzzle. To celebrate the past and the present here’s “Club Test 01” that includes some remixed track of our repertoire and a new re-recorded version of “Blue” that has become ten years old this year.
10 years!! endless is the gratitude for a song like “Blue” and not only for the number of copies sold or money earned but most of all for what it has meant in our lives. The mountain top after a 10 year climb, the feeling Rocky had when screaming “Aaaaaadriana”…

Happy birthday “Blue” thank you once more and may there be another 100 of these days

Questo è il motto che contraddistingue il nostro mestiere:
“Dai,dai,dai,veloce… muoviti…in fretta….stop…. fermati…aspetta….”.
Periodi che “sembra” non ci sia niente da fare ed altri che sei talmente impegnato che non riesci a capire da dove iniziare. Bè quest’ultimo per noi appartiene alla seconda categoria.
Nel giro di un mese ci siamo trovati a chiudere l’album, andare a Londra per il mastering, foto e l’artwork, fare il video, cambiare strategia discografica…insomma roba seria e impegnativa.
Alcuni di voi si saranno accorti che abbiamo una nuova distribuzione per l’Italia: siamo con Edel e non più con Universal.
Questi sono avvicendamenti discografici, che riguardano maggiormente la distribuzione, che nel corso della nostra carriera ci siamo trovati più volte di fronte, e che sono abbastanza frequenti nel nostro ambiente. Niente di cui preoccuparsi: tutto è sereno e ottimi rapporti con tutti.
Cambiando discorso: siamo reduci da 3 giorni di riprese del video di “un’altra come te”!
E’ successo davvero di tutto! Nel bene e nel male…. siamo riusciti a portarlo a casa
Ed è stato bello, emozionante ed istruttivo! In assoluto il set più cinematografico in cui ci siamo imbattuti, non ci siamo fatti mancare niente Capirete perché…
Ora siamo presi dal montaggio con il nostro regista di fiducia Alessandro Rota, e quello che vediamo nei monitor ci piace molto.
Per i più grandicelli di voi che hanno vissuto gli anni ’80: ci sarà una piacevole sorpresa!
La prossima settimana vi daremo qualche anticipazione e qualche news in più…

HURRY UP AND WAIT!

This is one of the most common characteristics in timing of our job:
“Hurry, hurry, hurry….run run….stop…wait…”.
There are times where all seem stills and other times where you’re constantly drowning in the river of things to do. Well these days for us are certainly to be considered the drowning times. In only one month we’ve gone through wrapping the album production, going to London for the mastering session, Photos and artwork, shooting the new video, changing strategy…all hard working request stuff.
Some of you have already noticed that we have a new distribution partner for Italy: we are with edel and no longer with Universal.
These are normal matters in the music business and they mainly concern the distribution.
We’ve gone through this many times in the past and there’s nothing to be worried about all is well and the relationships with our old partners are fine.
Speaking topic: we’re veterans of three long days of the “Un’altra Come Te” video shooting!
and, although we’ve gone through hell and heaven, we’ve got all the takes we need ☺
It’s been great, intense and instructive! This has surely been the closest to a real movie set we’ve ever worked on and we haven’t cut on anything…you’ll understand why

We’re currently editing the takes with the director Alessandro Rota and we really like what we see.
For the older of you that had a chance to live the 80’s there’ll be a great surprise!
Next week we’ll give you more news and peaks…

In Crash Test 02 – Mission Goldfinger

Quando si ha la possibilità di votare ci si pone domande!
Ci si chiede cos’è giusto, cos’è meglio per sé e cosa lo è per il resto del mondo,
cos’è strategicamente furbo o cos’è appagante per la propria anima, cos’è eticamente corretto o scorretto, cosa fa sentire più a proprio agio….ecc…
Insomma ognuno quando vota stabilisce i propri parametri di valutazione.
E per una volta anche voi, come capita spesso a noi, avete provato in prima persona quanto complesso possa essere prendere una decisione artistica!
Che sia anche solo un singolo tra 4 canzoni, anche solo per un attimo (citazione d’obbligo ).
Premesso che siete stati un ottimo punto di riferimento e che la cosa si ripeterà per molte altre occasioni, vi ringraziamo una volta di più per la grande partecipazione… come già detto: sentitevi sempre parte del nostro mondo… voi siete il nostro mondo! Bloom World !
Detto ciò, vi sarete posti domande tipo:
Qual è la canzone che preferisco?
Quale si adatterebbe meglio in radio?
Qual è la migliore considerato che il primo singolo è solitamente uno spartiacque?
Dato il periodo in cui verrà pubblicata, qual è la più estiva?
Qual è quella che meglio rappresenta il suono della band e del nuovo album?
Qual è la lingua migliore con cui partire?
Ecc….

Che in fondo sono le stesse che ci poniamo anche noi e tutto il nostro entourage.

In generale dai sondaggi e commenti vari si evince che:

1 Tutte e 4 le canzoni piacciono a loro modo.
2 Non c’è una vera e propria canzone che stravinca sulle altre e viceversa, che noi interpretiamo come un ottimo segnale in vista di un album da cui vorremmo estrarre più singoli possibili.

Se invece si legge “tra le righe” (seconda citazione d’obbligo;)), si intravedono sfumature interessanti tipo:
“Between the lines” è un plebiscito ma non sembra la miglior candidata come primo singolo, “Anche solo per un attimo” riaccende vecchi ricordi, “Welcome to the zoo” affascina i fruitori più open minded, “Un’altra come te” piace anche agli stranieri e molte altre cose davvero curiose.

Ora perché si è scelto “Un’altra come te” e non altro?

Perché ha dimostrato di essere in grado si spiazzare e stupire (prerogativa che il “primo singolo” deve avere più di ogni altra cosa),
Perché ha dimostrato di avere sapore internazionale pur essendo (per ora ☺) cantata in italiano,
Perché ha un testo provocatorio e non politicamente corretto,
Perché ha un vestito che raccoglie in sé molti elementi che ci rappresentano senza essere un’autocitazione,
Perché tutto il nostro entourage (compresi i corrispondenti stranieri) non ha avuto alcuna esitazione quando gli abbiamo chiesto un parere sull’ipotesi primo singolo,
Perché al suo interno sa essere tanto dark quanto bright (tanto invernale quanto estiva),
Perché ci sono le ritmiche e i suoni elettronici ma anche le slide guitars e i power chords,
Perché se lo merita dopo 8 anni di reclusione in una cartella introvabile di un vecchio hard disk,
Perchè quel vocoder iniziale è proprio come piace a noi,
Perché l’espressività un po’ cinica e strafottente del cantato veste benissimo il testo….
e potremmo andare avanti ancora per un bel po’….

Ma la stessa cosa potremmo farla anche con gli altri 3 candidati e anche con quelli che ancora non conoscete.. con diverse motivazioni… a loro modo… potrebbero essere dei validi singoli.

Ed è per questo che ogni volta che sceglieremo ci piacerebbe ripetere questo esperimento e confrontarci con gli unici giudici che noi rispettiamo davvero… ossia voi…

A proposito…. avete letto l’ultima frase della news? Quella che parla degli show case live?
Bè cosa ne pensate? E soprattutto … ora abbiamo “Crash Test 01”, “Crash Test 02” (anche se al momento ne conoscete poco più di 5 minuti) e il repertorio degli Eiffel… secondo voi…

When you have the opportunity to vote you ask yourself some questions!
You end up thinking what is right, what is best for you and for the rest of the world,
what’s the smartest strategy to follow and what’s the best burst for the soul. What’s aesthetically right or wrong, what makes you feel comfortable… etc etc.
Everyone makes their own picture of parameters to evaluate.
For once you have been in our shoes, you have personally understood how troubling it can be to make an artistic choice!
And this is just a pick among 4 songs.
We must say that you have been a great reference for us and this is surely not the last survey.
We thank you very much for the huge participation… as mentioned before… please feel part of our world cause you are our world! The Bloom world!
Well here’s a list of some questiones you asked yourself:
What’s my favorite song?
What song would paly in radios?
What’s the best choice considering that the first single is the road maker?
What fits best for the summer season?
Which pick best suites the bands new album sound?
What’s the best language to start with?
And so on….

These are basically the same questions our staff and us run through.

Generally speaking this is what the comments and survey picture:

1 – all 4 songs worked their way through
2 – there’s no super winner among the songs and we consider this a good signal that precedes an album of, hopefully, many singles.

If you read “Between the lines” you can notice things like:
“Between the lines” is a knock out song but doesn’t seem to be a good first single,
“Anche solo per un attimo” brings our fans back in time “Welcome to the Zoo” catches the open minded attention, “Un’altra come te” got the Italian and international fans approval.

Now why have we picked “Un’altra come te” and not another song?

Because it has proven to be able to surprise and outstand (characteristics a first single should have more than anything),
Because is has proven to have international flavor even if it has Italian lyrics (for the moment ☺)
Because it has provocative lyrics that are not so politically correct,
Because it has a blend of different sounds that represent the band without stepping backwards.
Because all of our staff (including the international dept) did not hesitate in picking this one,
Because it has a dark and a bright side (a winter and summer side),
Because it’s a great blend of electronic drums and electric guitars,
Because it deserves to be released after 8 years of waiting in a folder in a forgotten hard disk cluster,
Because the vocoder intro is just as we want it,
Because the cynical and non bothering expression of the vocals suite the song perfectly,
And we could go on for quite a while…

But we could do the same thing with the other 3 tracks and with the ones you haven’t heard yet…with different motivations…in some way…they could be good singles.

This is why, every time we will choose a single, we would like to repeat this experience and collect the opinions of the only judges we respect… which is YOU…

By the way.. have you read the last sentence of the news? The one that mentions the showcases? So what do you think about it? And most of all… you now have “Crash Test 01”, “Crash Test 02” (even if only 5 minutes of it) and the Eiffel 65 repertoire…well…

Correva l’Aprile del 1999, l’ennesimo Sib (storica fiera primaverile a Rimini, appuntamento fisso per chi aveva in qualche modo a che fare con l’ambiente del club) a cui partecipavamo da anni in qualità di addetti ai lavori quanto da fruitori ed appassionati della club culture.
Tutti parlavano di un brano e nessuno sapeva che eravamo noi ad averlo scritto e prodotto…
Era davvero gratificante sapere di essere tanto sconosciuti quanto ricercati nello stesso momento. Memorabile quel famoso pranzo prima del rientro a Torino, dove usciti dal ristorante qualcuno urlò:
“ragazzi c’è Blue in radio… primo disco del Deejay Time”, quando ancora la frase “primo disco del Deejay Time” era quasi sinonimo di successo da classifica.

Ne è passato di tempo, e quante cose sono cambiate… quante vite abbiamo vissuto nel frattempo!

E anche la storica fiera del Sib ha dovuto cedere il passo ad altre più “coinvolgenti” fiere di oggi, rimanendo relegata ad una pressoché reunion di addetti ai lavori una volta ogni due anni.
Tutto cambia, bisogna saperlo accettare.

In ogni caso, un po’ per nostalgia dei vecchi tempi, un po’ per passare 2 giorni a Rimini e rivedere qualche vecchia conoscenza, un po’ perché avremmo anche un paio di appuntamenti di strada al rientro…
si è deciso di fare un salto al Sib 2008 e passare un giorno in fiera la Domenica 6 Aprile.

Chissà che non ci riporti un’altra volta fortuna

Se ci siete ci fa molto piacere incontrarvi tra gli stand, le strombo, le standiste e i panini sciatti… in coda per il bagno!

It was April 1999, another SIB (famous fair in Rimini for all the people that are somehow involved with the club scenes) that we used to go to every year as workers and night clubbers.
Back then everybody was talking about a song that no one knew it was us that wrote it and produced it…
It was really gratifying to know that we were unknown as much as desired at the same time.
We can still recall that unforgettable lunch before going back to Torino where, stepping out of the restaurant, some screamed “Hey guys…Blue is on the Radio…first record of the Deejay Time Show” when a sentence like this would normally be synonymy of success.

It’s been quit a while and lots of things have change and who know how many lives we’ve lived in the meanwhile.

Even the famous SIB fair has given room to other fairs tied to clubbers slipping to a two year recurrence schedule.
Everything changes, we must learn to accept this.

In any case, being a little nostalgic of the old days and to spend a few days off, we’ve decided to go to Rimini a couple of days (and go to the fair on Sunday the 6th of April) in order to see some old friends and to attend some important appointments on the way back…

Who knows if this gets us some good luck like the old times ☺

If any of you will be there (among the stand and the hard sandwiches or in line for the WC) we would be glad to catch up and meet you.

DA VENERDÌ 28 MARZO UN ALTRO MINUTO DI “CRASH TEST 02” !

Dopo il minuto di “Between the lines”, da Venerdì sarà on line sul profilo myspace dei Bloom 06 un minuto di un altro dei brani che fanno parte del nuovo album “Crash Test 02”.
Questa volta vogliamo farvi ascoltare qualcosa in italiano e quindi abbiamo optato per: “Anche solo per un attimo” che è uno dei 3 brani in italiano contenuti nel nuovo album.
Alterneremo le lingue anche per le altre preview a venire proprio per farvi comprendere meglio lo scenario completo del nuovo lavoro.
C’interessano molto i vostri pareri positivi o negativi che siano, per cui vi preghiamo di farceli pervenire con i messaggi, le mail, i post sul forum o i commenti sullo Space.

Attualmente siamo alle prese con l’artwork e il materiale audio-video del backstage per il web,
mentre il nostro management si sta occupando della distribuzione, in merito a quest’ultima possiamo già anticiparvi che ci sarà qualche novità.
A breve verrà il momento di scegliere il primo singolo e quindi più impressioni e pareri abbiamo e più semplice sarà effettuare valutare la scelta giusta.

ON FRIDAY THE 28TH OF MARCH ANOTHER MINUTE OF “CRASH TEST 02″!

After the preview of “Between The Lines” this Friday there will be another one minute song peek of “Crash Test 02” on the Bloom 06 MySpace.
This time we want to unveil a slice of one of the Italian tracks called “Anche solo per un attimo”, one of the 3 Italian songs in the album.
We will switch between English and Italian in the next previews in order to give you a complete overview of the new album.
We are very interested in your opinions , good and bad what so ever, so please send us your comments via email, forum posts and/or comments on our MySpace profile.

At the moment we are taking care of the artwork and the backstage Audio-video material for the web while our management is covering the distribution matter and we can surely say that there are some surprises coming up.
Shortly we will have to decide which track to choose as the first single so the more comments we have the easier it will be for us to make the right decision.
We want you to be part of this process…of this Bloom 06 world…because, for us, you have always been part of it!

Sia l’atterraggio dell’andata che il decollo del ritorno sono stati “anomali”, per usare un eufemismo! Ma durante la nostra permanenza siamo riusciti a vedere anche qualche squarcio di sole!
Sarà una metafora di vita? Chi può dirlo! Noi sappiamo solo che Mike Marsh e gli studi Exchange sono proprio a nostra immagine e somiglianza. Il primo è stato per molti anni un DJ nei club e anche in radio, ama e respira la dance e l’elettronica quanto noi (non è un caso che gli vengano affidati tutti i lavori dei Chemical brothers e dei Depeche Mode), e i secondi si basano su attrezzature e atmosfera che tanto ci ricordano il nostro habitat naturale: macchine per stampare i vinili, compressori vintage e cassoni da urlo;
il tutto situato nella meravigliosa cornice di Camden Town, dove l’arte, la creatività, la passione per la musica e le idee sono ovunque… anche nell’aria! Tutto bello nonostante le turbolenze meteorologiche!
L’album? Suona davvero bene… oltre le nostre più lungimiranti aspettative. Potente e profondo, caldo e spietato, dance e elettro-pop, come qualcuno lo ha definito: una boccata d’aria fresca!
Il nostro management sta definendo i termini delle varie distribuzioni e siamo in attesa di capire la data di pubblicazione del primo singolo e quando potremo darvi informazioni più dettagliate.
Per ora possiamo annunciare che “Crash Test 02” contiene 10 canzoni, 7 in inglese e 3 in italiano.
Occhio al MySpace… abbiamo intenzione di inserire altri piccoli antipasti come s’è fatto con “Between the lines”.

The landings and the take offs of our trip where very shaky! but during our stay in London we were lucky enough to catch some sun rays!
Could this be a life metaphor? Who can say! We feel that Mike Marsh and the Exchange studios fit us like a glove. Mike has been a DJ and has worked in a radio for many years. He loves and breaths dance and electronic music as much as we do (it’s not a case that he’s the sound engineer that masters Chemical Brothers and Depeche Mode) and the Exchange studios look a lot like our natural habitat…big machines to print vinyl records, vintage compressors and big loud speakers. All this surrounded by Camden Town where art, creativity and passion for music is in every inch and in the air. All was great except for the bad weather!
The album? sounds really good…beyond any of our expectations. Powerful and deep, warm and fearless, dance, electro-pop as some one has defined it: a breath of fresh air!
Our management is defining the terms of the various distributions and we are waiting to know the release date of the first single and when we can give you more info.
All we can say for now is that “Crash Test 02” will contain 10 tracks, 7 in English and 3 in Italian.
Keep an eye on our MySpace…we will be giving another anticipation as we did with “Between The Lines”!

Ebbene si…. mi rendo conto solo ora che tra un paio di giorni “Crash Test 02” sarà finito!
Almeno per ciò che concerne il nostro lavoro di produzione e mix definitivo.
Rimarrà solo l’artwork e il mastering a Londra. Ma poca cosa se paragonata all’iper lavoro che ha contraddistinto la produzione di questo fantomatico seguito di “Crash Test 01”.

E’ stato lungo e anche molto difficile lo ammetto, ha messo a dura prova le nostre risorse sia fisiche che mentali ma ci ha insegnato molto…moltissimo.
Credo che sia un album che traccia un po’ il punto d’incontro tra il nostro passato e il nostro futuro, che unisca i frutti dell’esperienza con quelli della sperimentazione e ponga basi solide e concrete per quello che verrà indipendentemente dai risultati commerciali che ne potranno conseguire.
Tra le tante cose abbiamo riscoperto il piacere del beat che ci ha sempre accompagnato ma che, per un breve periodo, avevamo messo un po’ in secondo piano, abbiamo riapprezzato alcuni metodi che tanto ci hanno dato ed imparato a farli convivere con le nostre nuove attitudini.
Abbiamo anche commesso errori che ovviamente ci hanno illuminato la strada da seguire.

Ma la cosa bella sapete qual è?
Ascoltare il proprio album per la miliardesima volta è poter dire ancora:
“Abbiamo fatto davvero un gran bell’album, se non fosse nostro lo andremmo a cercare!”

Ora speriamo solo che ci comunichino quanto prima la data d’uscita…

Abbiamo voglia di farlo sentire…..

Oh yeah…I’m starting to realize that within a couple of days “Crash Test 02” is finished!
Well, at least it is for all that regards the production and mix phase.
All that is left to do is the artwork and the mastering in London and it surely is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the great amount of effort spent on the follow up album of “Crash Test 01”.

It’s taken a long time and I must admit it’s been hard, it has widely tested our physical and mental resistance and we’ve learned a lot from all this.
I believe this album is where our past and our future encounter, where all our experience meets experimentation and sets the basis for what is to come no matter the market results.
Among all this we have rediscovered the vibe of the beats that have walked our paths but that we, even for a short moment of time, have put in the shade. We’ve appreciated the union of our new production attitudes with the old methods that have taught us so much over the years.
We’ve obviously made some mistakes along the way that have driven us back on the road.

But the good part about it is?
We’re glad to say that even if we’ve heard the album a million times:
“We still feel that we’ve produced a good album…if it wasn’t ours we’d go and buy it!”

Now…let’s hope to get a release date as soon as possible…

per cambiare una vita,
per trasformare la routine in sorprendente entusiasmo…!

ah…la musica… la migliore delle ammaliatrici quanto la peggiore delle carnefici !

Un minuto di “Between the lines”, piccolo frammento di un puzzle che stiamo per completare, e tutto sembra già meglio!

Più di 8000 visualizzazioni di profilo, 2000 plays, centinaia di messaggi tra Myspace, email e il forum da diverse parti del mondo, primo posto nella categoria “Elettronica” di Myspace davanti a nomi ben più blasonati…. tutto questo in solo 12 ore !!

Internet non sarà la soluzione definitiva ma è in grado di dare delle grandi soddisfazioni ed accende piccole miccie di democrazia e speranza… che se ben alimentate possono trasformarsi in fiamme alte metri che nessuno può fermare!

Grazie a tutti per l’entusiasmo, la fiducia e le attestazioni di stima!!

Fanno star bene, fanno ricordare a chi si rivolgono veramente i nostri sforzi…. e noi non ce lo dimentichiamo… !

“Crash Test 02” ha bisogno di tutto questo e noi, nell’affrontare l’ultima parte del lavoro, riverseremo sia il nostro entusiasmo che il vostro in ogni singolo secondo inciso dell’intera tracklist!

One minute of “Between The Lines”, a little fragment of the puzzle that we’re completing, and everything seems better!

More than 8000 profile clicks, 2000 plays, hundreds of mails from MySpace, emails and forums world wide, number one in the MySpace “Electro” Charts leaping over onh known artists…all of this in only 12 hours !!

The Internet may not be the final solution yet but it surely is capable of giving great satisfaction and lighting small sparks of democracy and hope…that if well fed can become flames towers high that no one can stop!

Benvenuti nel blog dei Bloom 06….Anche noi entriamo a far parte di questo nuovo modo di comunicare….
eh si perchè oggi se non hai un “maispeiss” o un blog vali meno di uno con una gamba sola alla finale del campionato del mondo di calci in culo ☺

A quanto pare esistono diversi modi d’impostare il tema di un blog:
noi da profani lo useremo semplicemente per quello che è…ossia un modo per dire qualcosa che abbiamo voglia di dire…. easy !
La frequenza dei messaggi dipenderà direttamente da questo.
Quelli di voi che hanno avuto modo di conoscerci personalmente sanno che il nostro modo di dialogare è informale e come tale vogliamo che sia il linguaggio del nostro blog, come fosse un’uscita con gli amici che sei solito frequentare a cui racconti come ti vanno le cose e i piccoli e grandi eventi della quotidianità.
Cogliamo l’occasione per ringraziarvi per la costante affluenza al sito e al Myspace!
Di quest’ultimo siamo felici di constatare che, nonostante non ci siano nostre produzioni in promozione da quasi un anno, siamo costantemente nei top 20 profili più cliccati d’Italia con punte interessanti come il primo posto nella categoria “Elettronica”.
Questo significa molto per la nostra nuova realtà, sebbene sia realmente solo una miccia…. significa che sono ancora tanti quelli che hanno voglia di sentirsi rappresentati da qualcosa e qualcuno che non sia per forza “R’n’b”, “hip hop”, pseudo “punk rock” o straclassicomelodico Pop italiano!
Non avete idea di quanto sia importante, per un artista non convenzionale, sapere che in giro ci sia chi ha voglia di nuovi suoni e nuovi linguaggi… e se sono pochi …sta a noi fare in modo che diventino tanti…. tantissimi …. fino a quando una sera … si accenderanno gli spot …fumo… decibel…urla…potenza di suono…melodie….parole…. sano sfogo anti stress…. da sopra e sotto un palco… per mandare a stendere le paranoie… anche solo per un attimo…
…come sempre e chissà…. magari anche meglio !!!

Here we step into this new mean of communication…
Yep! That’s right because if you don’t have a MySpace account or a Blog these days you’re worth less than a one legged man at the “kicks in the ass” contest ☺

There seems to be various ways to use a blog:
Being quite profane to this reality we’ve chosen to use it for what it is…a way to say something that we want to say…easy going!
The regularity of our blog will depend on that factor.
The few of you that have had the opportunity to meet us personally know well that our way or communicating is informal and we feel that’s what should characterize or blog, as if we were out with our friends that we normally chat with about the events and the things of our everyday life.
We want to thank you for the constant presence in our MySpace!
We are proud of our profile due to the fact that, although we’ve haven’t put anything on the market in almost a year, we are constantly in the top 20 Italian most clicked profiles getting us to hit the number one position in the “Electro” section.
This is worth a lot for our new musical adventure, although it’s just a spark at the moment…
it means that there’s still may people that want to feel represented by something and someone that doesn’t have to be part of the “R’nB’”, “Hip Hop”, “Punl Rock” or super Classic melodic Italian pop scene!.
You have no idea how important it is, for a non conventional artist, to know that there is someone out there that wants new sounds and new schemes…and if they are not many…it’s up to us to make them so….so many…until one night… the lights and smoke will go on…crowd yells…loud music..melodies…up and down off a stage… to drown any paranoia..even just for a moment
